HI, I´M PAULA

I graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Eurythmy (department of performing arts) at Alanus University in Alfter/Bonn.
Besides my studies I gained experiences in site-specific performances with several artists like Lucy Suggate, Cie Willi Dorner ('Bodies in Urban Spaces'),
to name just a few, and performed for fine arts student exhibitions at Alanus University.
I also worked as a workshop assistant for Berlin-based dance artist Miranda Markgraf, created my own pieces (e.g. for CityLeaks Festival 2013 in Cologne)
and performed with the Tanztheater Kompanie 'x-legged rose' directed by Annette Piscantor (Tanzwerkstatt Xanten).
The 'Tanzwerkstatt' is also where I took my first dance classes in creative dance at the age of six and in the following years explored my passion for movement as an art form.

Today my artistic work, as well as my research are interested in and dealing with the human body - its conditions and environment in correlation to each other.

Constantly trainings in dance technique, movement, improvisation, meditation and education are important to me.
